I'm Not A Blonde are the multi-instrumentalists Chiara Castello and Camilla Matley. Based in Milan, they write electro-art-pop songs that bring together their many different influences: beats and synths from the '80s, brith-punk guitars and melodies from the '90 to create a unique world of their own.
They released their first album “Introducing I’m Not A Blonde” in 2016 via the Italian label INRI-METATRON. The official videos of “IF” and “Tudis” were both on heavy rotation on MTV Italy. Their second album “The Blonde Album” was released in 2018. Their first single "Daughter" was broadcasted on the Berlin independent radio FLUX FM and Detektor.FM. The single “A Reason “ was produced by Daniel Hunt ( member of the English band LadyTron )
During these years of activity they've been touring Europe taking part in important festivals sharing stages with Duran Duran, Moderat, Soulwax, Peaches, Hurts and Ghostpoet. They have been chosen by Franz Ferdinand , The Killers and Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park) to open their shows in Italy.
